MALAYSIA - police commits to next year’s tourism campaign

The Home Ministry has announced it has given the police an additional budget of RM260 million (app.US$70 million) to acquire an additional 2,000 police patrol cars, in addition to fast-track train some 3,000 police officers in preparation for the country's tourism campaign.
