In an attempt to upgrade the service and hygiene of beauty parlours and masseurs for the health services in its perimeters, the Office of Phuket City is organizing a training workshop for the operators and masseurs. There are around 330 operators in the Phuket City area for the two businesses. The mayor Somjai Suwansupana urges the masseurs to form a club to help check on their quality and acquire appropriate technical support. If the business operators are strong, it would be good for the customers and tourism atmosphere as a whole.
