INDONESIA - expects 5.5 million tourists this year

Indonesia has predicted that the largest number of foreign tourists to come to the country this year will be from Southeast Asia. Indonesia expects the number of tourists from those countries to reach more than two million, which is more than 38 percent of the projected 5.5 million visitors for the year, the director general of marketing of the ministry of tourism and culture, Thamrin B Bachri, said here.
