The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to go ahead with the proposed ‘Southern Splendour train project' without any further delay. It may not wait for other southern states to participate. According to sources, AP chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy has asked tourism department officials to promote the ’special purpose vehicle’ (SPV) immediately and enter into an MoU with the Railway Board and the Union government.
